What does the Grayl filter out?

Both the GeoPress and Ultrapress filter out bacteria, protozoa, parasites, sediment, viruses, and chemicals.

They also filter out smell and taste.

• Removes waterborne pathogens (viruses, bacteria, protozoan cysts), including Rotavirus, Hepatitis A, Norovirus, Giardiasis, Cryptosporidium, E. Coli, Cholera, Salmonella, Dysentery and more
• Filters: particulates (sediment, microplastics) and many chemicals, pesticides, and heavy metals 
• Improves taste, smell and clarity

We have recently been asked if it will filter out fluoride and it will filter out around 20-30% of fluoride in most cases.
